During the previous owner’s “modernizations” of this Victorian home, the upper sections of this quarter sawn oak stairway railing were removed and the remaining portions painted white.

Restoration of the stairway included design of new spindles, railings, and a newel post to complement the existing railing profiles.

The furnishings package for the stairway included oriental carpet runners, new track lighting, paintings, sculptures, and a vintage Japanese Boys Day Festival banner.
