Existing departmental space was reconfigured to meet new program needs. To keep construction costs down, existing elements were salvaged for reuse including doors, door frames, door hardware, and light fixtures. Ceiling grid layouts for the newly shaped rooms were designed around existing sprinkler head locations to eliminate adjustment of the existing fire-sprinkler system. The resulting reorganized room configuration increases useable area by reducing unnecessary circulation space within the office suite.
