The University needed a “hands-on” computer lab workroom where students learn how to repair and upgrade computers and high-tech equipment. The program for the space included: individual work stations; storage of tools, hardware components, and reference materials; worktables for group projects; and lecture seating with and without countertops.

The planning solution for the lab places individual workstations and storage along the sidewalls of the room with a set of mobile furnishing components at the center of the space that can be quickly reconfigured for the varied teaching arrangements used within the lab space.
